Weather Shield Windows & Doors, a manufacturer of windows and doors for the custom home market, launches Visions 3500 Series of vinyl windows and doors. The Visions 3500 Series single and double hung, direct set and sliding windows have the choice of either an integral j-channel frame to ease installation of siding or accessory trim, or a non-integral j-channel frame for brick or stucco installations. All of the Visions 3500 Series products feature technology to ensure energy efficiency, minimal water infiltration and thermal performance, while offering options including multiple grille styles, glazing alternatives and a choice of 58 exterior colors.
The Visions 3500 Series is available in double hung, single hung, casement, awning, single slider and direct-set picture windows; and traditional and French-stile sliding patio doors. All are made from select PVC with high-impact modifiers and UV stabilizers that ensure the extruded vinyl exteriors hold their color through years of sun exposure.
The Visions 3500 Series features:
•Multi-chambered 3 1/4 inch frames with fusion-welded corners and steel-reinforced meeting rails to ensure structural integrity
•Traditional block frame or J-channel frame
•An inverted constant-force balance system on double and single hung windows help the units achieve a Class 3 AAMA rating, and provide almost-weightless operation
•Standard extruded colors of white, cameo and tan, and in select markets, desert tan and heritage brown (visible to the interior even when exterior is painted)
•Exterior paint colors: Hartford green, craftsman bronze, adobe, brick red, jet black, silver ice metallic, light gold metallic and antique bronze metallic. An expanded palette of 45 colors is offered as well.
•Grilles choices of 5/8 inch flat, 11/16 inch and 15/16 inch profiled grilles between the glass; and 7/8 inch value divided lites and simulated divided lites
•Window hardware is available color-matched to the interior color and also in rustic bronze
Patio Doors to Complete a House
Visions 3500 sliding patio doors are available in traditional and French-stile models in the same premium quality as the window units. Steel stiffeners in the panels provide strength, durability and security to the door. End-adjustable tandem ball-bearing rollers, or stainless steel rollers for coastal applications, glide in the track. Hardware is available in white, cameo, tan, bright brass, brushed nickel, rustic bronze, and in select markets, desert tan. All patio doors come with a standard fiberglass mesh screen.
