Visualize A Roof Before Installation

Atlas Roofing introduces Select Your Roof, a new consumer-oriented app for iPad, devoted to the homeowner’s process of choosing an appropriate roofing system. The app is an extension of Atlas’ existing selectyourroof.com website and the Shingle Visualizer, an interactive webpage found on the atlasroofing.com website.

The app, available for download, is split into two parts: My Roof Color Gauge and Shingle Visualizer.

My Roof Color Gauge allows the user to take a photo of his or her home to assist in the process of designing roofing or use existing photos of various styles of homes. If the user chooses to use his or her own photograph, the app has specific, easy-to-follow parameters set up to ensure proper positioning.

In the next step, a shingle style is selected from three options, which directly leads to a photo of the chosen home with the new roofing’s installation. Here, a swipe of the finger across the roofing changes the color to visualize the different options available for that shingle.
