Deceuninck North America has introduced Genius, a window system designed with two separate insulated glass sashes. Additional air space between the two sash members creates a barrier to thermal-energy flow, and a thermal-activated ventilation system automatically vents solar-heated air into the building interior in the winter and outside in the summer.
