The new fixture interface hardware allows its smooth, seamless integration into a host of Armstrong ceiling suspension systems.<\/p>\n<p>The popular light fixture is available in different lengths and widths that make it compatible with 2- and 4-foot ceiling grid increments and with 15\/16- and 9\/16-inch suspension systems, including the Armstrong DC FlexZone suspension system.<\/p>\n<p>JLC-Tech\u2019s patented lighting fixture is designed to fit in the relatively small linear area normally occupied by a ceiling grid cross tee while having the light output of a much wider fixture by using an advanced heat sinking chassis, high power LED light engine, and microprismatic de-glaring lensing or cut-off reflector combination.<\/p>\n<p>The T-BAR LED Smartlight is available in a variety of color temperatures with four different lens options. It is designed to directly integrate into the grid of a suspended ceiling in place of cross tees wherever light is desired.<\/p>\n<p>The T-BAR LED Smartlight can reduce electrical consumption up to 50 percent compared with conventional fluorescent lighting. Combined with Armstrong energy-saving, high light-reflective ceiling panels, the integrated lighting and ceiling combination can dramatically reduce both electric bills and the carbon footprint. And, with a typical LED life span of greater than 50,000 hours, maintenance expenses are greatly reduced.<\/p>\n<p>The unique low profile design of the fixture helps create a clean, minimalistic and uniform visual in the ceiling. It can be used in new and retrofit applications and is especially well-suited for installations with reduced plenum heights.<\/p>\n<p>The T-BAR LED Smartlight can provide improved lighting solutions in areas where acoustic levels are a critical factor. The fixture\u2019s streamline design allows use of a  variety of high-performance ceiling panels without requiring tile field cuts and minimizes the number of penetrations in the ceiling that normally lower the acoustic quality of a space.<\/p>\n<p>The T-BAR LED Smartlight, already available with a universal mounting system, is now available with Armstrong XL cross tee mounting hardware.  The design incorporates Armstrong XL technology that allows faster and easier installation and qualifies it for use in seismic-rated ceiling assemblies.<\/p>\n<p>The T-BAR LED Smartlight with Armstrong XL cross tee mounting hardware has been tested for direct use in IBC Category D, E, and F seismic-rated assemblies.
