Meeting or exceeding IIC, FIIC, and STC sound ratings, it dampens ambient sound in the room it\u2019s installed in and helps minimize impact and airborne sound from traveling into the room below.<\/p>\n<p>QuietWalk filaments are randomly air-laid, creating a capillary effect to cushion the floor, absorb sound, and help floating floors sound more like fastened wood. QuietWalk also features an exclusive moisture management system that can wick away sub-floor or incidental perimeter moisture and disperse it throughout the pad.<\/p>\n<p>QuietWalk adds 0.50 R-value to the flooring system, helping boost thermal insulation, keeping floors warmer in winter and cooler in summer. It is approved for use over radiant heated floors.<\/p>\n<p>Ideal for installations where indoor air quality is a consideration, QuietWalk is odorless, hypoallergenic, and VOC-free.
