Inc.<\/a> has announced its self-adhered fire-resistant underlayment, Polystick XFR, has received a new Notice of Acceptance (NOA) from Miami-Dade County (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.miamidade.gov\/building\/library\/productcontrol\/noa\/20111703.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NOA No.: 20-1117.03<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/polyglass.us\/product\/coming-soon-polystick-xfr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Polystick XFR<\/a> is a dual-purpose fire-resistant and self-adhered waterproofing underlayment that offers fire resistance for a variety of high-temperature applications, including combustible decks with metal roof coverings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The approved use of the product includes installation over an anchor sheet mechanically fastened to non-insulated wood decks. Please refer to the NOA for system specific limitations and installation requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Miami-Dade NOA represents the latest in a growing number of code approvals for Polystick XFR as industry regulatory agencies recognize its ability to meet or exceed their standards for superior roof protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of now, Polystick XFR holds approval with the following code agencies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Underwriter Laboratories (UL)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/icc-es.org\/report-listing\/esr-1697\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Codes Council (ICC-ES)<\/a><\/li><li>Miami-Dade County<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridabuilding.org\/pr\/pr_app_dtl.aspx?param=wGEVXQwtDqvbSq%20AaZp3Crk2vS%2Feq0lip1ayHJQ%2BBzcAlSsDg3APdrQ%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Florida Building Code (FBC)<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdi.texas.gov\/wind\/documents\/listunderlaymentproducts.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Texas Department of Insurance (TDI)<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/osfm.fire.ca.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">California Office of State Fire Marshal (Cal OSFM)<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Polystick XFR consists of an SBS (elastomeric) modified bitumen upper compound and an aggressive self-adhesive compound on the bottom featuring Polyglass&#8217; patented ADESO self-adhering technology. Polystick XFR also features patent-pending Burn-Shield technology, which offers resistance to flame spread.
