Therma-Tru has introduced a variety of decorative door glass options and door styles for 2015. The assortment of entry products are being introduced to provide builders and remodelers with choices for uniting today’s style trends with entryway systems.
Decorative glass products:
- Borrassa – Wrought iron accentuates hammered glass in the Borrassa doorlite. Capitalizing on market trends toward more linear and simplistic designs, the versatile wrought iron design of Borrassa translates easily into a wide variety of home styles, including Coastal, Mediterranean, Spanish and Old World. Available in the Classic-Craft Mahogany, Rustic and Canvas Collections.
- Zaha – The design of Zaha decorative glass includes four different glasses joined together with right angles offset by curves to complement Contemporary style homes. The bold glass design comes with either black or brushed nickel caming, and is available in doorlites, sidelites and transoms in the Classic-Craft Mahogany, Rustic and Canvas Collections.
Expanded decorative glass options:
- Homeward and Villager – The Homeward and Villager decorative glass design options are expanding in 2015. A variety of larger selections of glass sizes for the Craftsman-style glass are now available in all five Classic-Craft door collections. Glass sizes range from 25 inches by 35 inches to 25 inches by 66 inches. As with all Therma-Tru decorative glass products, the Homeward and Villager glass doorlites are created with triple-pane glass construction to help reduce outside noise and increase energy efficiency in the home.
Taller doors:
- Smooth-Star 3/4 lite 1-panel flush-glazed door – For front entries and patio openings, the look of the 3/4-lite 1-panel door style combines the beauty and performance of flushed-glazed glass in a smooth, paintable surface. Available in an 8-foot height, this door suits many home styles. A variety of grid patterns, glass choices and divided lite options make it easy to customize this fiberglass door.
- Smooth-Star 7-foot door options – Designed to fit more openings, the Smooth-Star portfolio has expanded to include the 2-panel square top and 6-panel door styles in a 7-foot height. A wide assortment of decorative glass can be combined with this door plus specialty glass options including Simulated Divided Lites, Grilles Between Glass, Removable Wood Grilles and Fixed Grilles to create more than 350 Smooth-Star door and glass combinations in a 7-foot height.
- Smooth-Star and Traditions 8-foot 1/2-lite 2-panel door styles – The Smooth-Star and Traditions 8-foot doors allow builders and remodelers to capitalize on trends toward taller ceiling heights. More than 200 1/2-lite 2-panel door styles options are offered for use in several locations throughout the home. Available in widths of 2 feet 8 inches, 2 feet 10 inches and 3 feet to fill a variety of openings, these doors can be matched up with sidelites and transoms.
