The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) published NEMA SB 20-2015 Guide to Understanding Smoke Control Systems.
This is a new standard that was developed by the NEMA Fire, Life Safety, Security, and Emergency Communications Section to provide an understanding of the purpose and general operational requirements for smoke control systems and to allow users to identify appropriate test methods. It covers activation, operation and testing requirements for smoke control systems in all types of buildings.
