Following more than two decades of supporting Habitat for Humanity of Central Indiana, Carrier is pleased to expand its support to include Habitat for Humanity in California. Ten donated energy-efficient Carrier home comfort systems and Wi-Fi enabled Côr thermostats are being installed in Habitat for Humanity homes in Los Angeles. Carrier is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
“Carrier is proud of our history with Habitat for Humanity and is passionate about helping this organization reach a wider audience,” says Matthew Pine, vice president, marketing, Carrier residential. “By providing these products, we are able to extend our relationship with Habitat and offer energy-efficient Carrier home comfort systems to families in need.”
“We are thankful to Carrier for their continued support and expanding their support to Los Angeles,” states Erin Rank, president and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles. “Together, we are helping families to buy and live in affordable and sustainable homes.”
“We take seriously our responsibility to honor our founder’s legacy by helping as many people as possible enjoy Carrier comfort,” Pine says. “Supporting affordable housing is indicative of the support Carrier provides to the communities where our customers live, work and play.”
