ATAS International Inc. has announced Chris Kroeter, CSI, CDT, LEED Green Associate and Brian Silvius as the recipients of its annual Malan S. Parker Award to recognize the top sales team of 2016.
Kroeter is the ATAS product representative for Metro New York, Long Island and northern New Jersey. Silvius is the inside technical salesperson for that territory. They were chosen for their overall sales growth within the territory, and observance of corporate goals and objectives.
Antlers were added to the plaque this year, in recognition of Kroeter’s skills of hunting down new sales opportunities with prospects. Due to his consultative approach to assisting architects, contractors and owners, he is able to guide them through their design vision to the finished building. Both Kroeter and Silvius have experience working as a contractor earlier in their career, which has been valuable in explaining installation techniques to other contractors. Kroeter is also mindful of providing education on building envelope solutions and how ATAS products can contribute to a building’s form and function.

Malan S. “Steve” Parker was an ATAS employee in the New England territory, and he passed away in 2002. Since then, to honor his hard work and dedication to ATAS, the sales team of the year award is now known as the Malan S. Parker Award.
