DEWALT has announced the BREAKAWAY Reciprocating Saw Blades, which are made in the U.S. with global materials. With the 2 blades in 1 design, users are able to break away the used section of the blade, and then reinsert the unused blade section back into the saw. The BREAKAWAY feature allows for maximum blade use, without compromising performance.
BREAKAWAY Reciprocating Saw Blades come in two lengths, 6-inch (DWABK461418) and 9-inch (DWABK491418). The 6-inch blades break into 4-inch blades, and are ideal for cutting materials up to 1-inch in diameter. The 9-inch blades break into 6-inch blades, and are ideal for cutting materials up to 2-inches in diameter. At .042-inch thickness, the saw blades have been designed with a thick kerf for durability. The blades are engineered with a 14/18 TPI (teeth per inch) variable tooth pattern for optimized cuts in a variety of metal cutting applications.
Common applications include cutting galvanized pipe, copper pipe, conduit, metal studs, EMT, and other metals. Available where DEWALT products are sold, the BREAKAWAY Reciprocating Saw Blades solve the frustration of wasting blades.
