Hanwha Surfaces has announced that it will be expanding its direct distribution into the design-centric cities of Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas. Customers in these areas will be able to buy HanStone Quartz and Hanex Solid Surface products directly from its distribution center in Cerritos, Calif.
Southern California and Las Vegas are natural choices for the company to move to the direct sales model. In addition to the warehouse, Hanwha Surfaces has a sales team in the region, creating a seamless transition. With the launch of a second production line for HanStone Quartz in London, Ontario this fall and the Hanex manufacturing facility in Texas in the summer of 2018, the company is able to get product to customers in these areas efficiently.
Its first U.S. headquarters office was located in California, so it’s a familiar region to the company. “Southern California has been a national leader in design trends,” says Steve Becker, Hanwha Surfaces, VP of sales & marketing. “Moving to a direct sales model in these cities will allow us to serve our customers by offering support, increased availability and efficiency in delivering our products.”
