ASSA ABLOY has announced the launch of ASSA ABLOY Academy, a consolidation of its training programs that enable security professionals to be more effective at their job of protecting both people and places.
The program offerings are highlighted on its website, which features an upgraded learning management system to streamline coursework through an enhanced user interface.
The academy features all of the existing content from ASSA ABLOY Americas University including online courses, onsite classes at learning centers, and a Mobile Installation Training Vehicle that provides hands-on training at any location.
“Our educational offerings have seen success over the past decade,” says Mark Brewer, director of education at ASSA ABLOY Academy. “The website brings it all together in one platform. It allows us to provide relevant training in an interface that enables learning and gives us opportunities to expand our offering.”
The goal of ASSA ABLOY Academy is to provide learning opportunities for all professionals in the security industry. This dovetails with ASSA ABLOY core mission of protecting the people and places that matter most in this world.
“If we provide quality training for security professionals they will be better at executing on their mission of making facilities safe and secure,” says Sean McGrath, vice president of marketing, business development and training, ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions. “We view the ASSA ABLOY Academy as an offering for everyone who wants to improve the way in which they protect the critical assets of our world.”
