Eggxit is a tool that fills the valleys between Spanish tiles on solar panel exclusion jobs.
Solar panel exclusion work has become a form of bird control. Jobs using Solar Panel Exclusion Kits from Bird Barrier starts with a roll of metal mesh, cut into sections, and locked to the panels with Solar Panel Clips.
Unless there’s Spanish tile involved. Then it becomes a headache. Until now.
Old School – The installer tries to cut the mesh in a wavy pattern to fit the peaks and valleys of the Spanish tile.
The Future – The bottom of the mesh touches the tops of the Spanish tile peaks. The troughs are left open. Eggxit fills the troughs.
So we hatched the Eggxit. It’s engineered egg-shape dips into the troughs between Spanish tiles and is hog-ringed to the mesh above.
Now rotating Eggxit is its trick. The ends are designed to fit any tile size, style and configuration. Furthermore, pitching Eggxit outward a little when attaching puts an end to even the strongest of intruders.
Eggxit gets everyone off of those delicate Spanish tile roofs as fast as humanely possible.
