With a palette of 29 colors and adhesion to almost all construction substrates the Echo Colorway color matching sealant from Mule-Hide Products Co. allows contractors to deliver window, door and siding projects that are durable and beautiful.
Echo Colorway is a one-component, rapid moisture-cure caulk designed for interior/exterior use in sealing around windows, doors and siding. It provides adhesion with common construction substrates, including fiber cement, cedar, brick, stone, coated aluminum, steel, fiberglass, vinyl, PVC, stucco, EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish System), wood, glass, concrete, masonry, flashing tapes and Kynar. It also is compatible with a range of additional materials, including rubberized asphalt flashing and other flexible plastic building materials.
A palette of 29 colors, from Ultra Clear, White and Black to a rainbow of tans, browns, blues, greens, reds and grays, eases the ability to coordinate the caulk with windows and siding. The caulk can also be painted just two hours after application, ensuring the right fit for hard-to-match projects.
Echo Colorway can be applied to horizontal and vertical surfaces to fill gaps up to ½-inch deep and 1-inch wide. It bonds to wet or dry surfaces. It can be applied in ambient temperatures ranging from -40 F to 140 F.
Flex Technology gives Echo Colorway the elasticity to weather freeze-thaw cycles and building movement; it is a Class 50 sealant under ASTM C920, able to withstand 50 percent extension and 50 percent compression (+/- 50 percent joint movement).
Its cure time enhances crew efficiency. The caulk skins over in less than 20 minutes and becomes tack-free in less than one hour at 77 F with 50 percent relative humidity.
Echo Colorway complies with volatile organic compound (VOC)-related regulations in all 50 states.
Echo Colorway is packaged in 10.1 fluid ounce (298 milliliter) cartridges.
