CupaClad has announced that Brickworks Supply Center has been selected to distribute its natural slate rainscreen cladding system throughout the Chicago metroplex.
Brickworks Supply Center already enjoys a major market share in masonry sales throughout the region. Now that the firm is focusing on adding related products, in particular to meet building envelope requirements, CupaClad is confident it will be an ideal fit to represent its rainscreen system.
Nathan Karaway, vice president of architectural sales at Brickworks Supply Center, states, “We are very excited to be partnering with CupaClad. Their approach to educate our team and help IBC launch a market presence has really been positive. Even more exciting, the A&D community has expressed much interest and excitement for a natural slate product such as this. These new rainscreen systems are coming into the United States because of the ever-changing energy & building codes. CupaClad’s natural slate is a high-performance, low maintenance material. It has unique modern colors, is a lightweight system resulting in ease of installation… which offers a countless number of solutions for builders.”
Karaway went on to state that the appearance of CupaClad installation with its colors and design options can be the “look of the neighborhood! The system offers so many positives!” continues Karaway. “And, with builders looking for cutting-edge designs as well as simplified installations to bring their costs down, I am now proud to say we distribute CupaClad natural slate façade systems and will be promoting them, beginning at Façades + in Chicago this September.”
CupaClad materials are chosen from 16 quarries of the firm’s parent company, Cupa Pizarras. The quality control program ensures that CupaClad technical properties will ensure façade performance in any location of the world.
