Legrand North and Central America has announced the expansion of its Netatmo smart home technology with two new collections of smart lighting controls available in the U.S. The new smart switches and outlets have been designed with Netatmo to deliver monitoring of power consumption, remote surveillance, and control over various functions when the user is away from home, including the control of lights, shades, sensors, electrical appliances and other Zigbee 3.0 devices.
Netatmo creates products for a safe and comfortable home. Legrand acquired Netatmo in 2018, speeding its ability to connect everything in the home.
Netatmo collaborates with companies in the building industry through its “with Netatmo” partnership program to develop smart integrated solutions that fit into residential infrastructures. The availability of the with Netatmo products are expanding to 60 countries in 2020. The with Netatmo products are recognized for their living-product designs, installation ease within both new and retrofit builds, user-friendly operation via user interface, and interoperability.
The new line of wired and wireless smart switches, dimmers, and outlets leverages the mesh-network and performance of Netatmo, making them optimal for larger homes and applications with noisy RF environments.
The Smart Lighting with Netatmo switches and dimmers consume less power, enabling longer lasting battery-operated devices. These smart switches can be added anywhere in the home and be moved at any time for customization and convenience. Netatmo allows users to manage their connected devices through voice commands with Alexa, Google or Siri. Additionally, all with Netatmo products can be controlled via a smartphone or tablet offering the capability to control lights and power from the Netatmo app, IFTTT, as well as through IoT ecosystems such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit.
Netatmo’s technology also makes power consumption and management easier through energy reporting in the Netatmo app.
Smart Lighting with Netatmo will be available in the U.S. in two collections of designer switches and outlets, adorne and radiant. The adorne Collection of designer switches and outlets features a square form factor and paired with wall plates, available in an array of colors and materials including matte metals and rich woods.
