Add Colorful Lighting to a Space

Philips has launched the Friends of Hue product line with two innovations that integrate and work seamlessly with the Hue lighting system. These two new Friends of Hue products—LivingColors Bloom and LightStrips—will bring a more immersive experience with saturated colors that will further transform the way design and experience light in our homes through connected LED technology:

• LivingColors Bloom: A compact and portable lamp that can be placed wherever you need it: floor, counter, shelving. With the Bloom you can add accents to your home; light a space with a splash of color; or wash a wall with stunning, deep shades.
• LightStrips: 6.6 feet of flexible lighting (with the option of cutting to size) that has an adhesive sticker on the back allowing you to attach it to any solid surface. It’?s designed to deliver ?indirect? colored light and can be bent and fixed in whichever way you desire: run them along a shelf to add depth to the ambience of a room, under the TV to accentuate your viewing experience or simply wrap it around a favorite painting to add design flare to your home.

Both products, along with the growing world of apps designed to leverage Hue?s potential, expand the options for the ways we entertain with music and experience video games as well. Unlike Hue, which also produces white light, LivingColors Bloom and LightStrips are meant to complement Hue to create a more ambient experience through colored light.
