App Calculates Water Use

Green Badger is announcing the release of a the new LEED Water Use Calculator App.

Green Badger continues to develop sustainability-focused software tools to make green building and LEED certification cheaper and easier.

The LEED Water Use Calculator allows users to make real-time computations to see what impact different plumbing fixture options will have on their ability to earn LEED points.

The LEED Water Use Calculator app eliminates cumbersome spreadsheets and the convoluted LEED Online calculator so designers can easily plug and play different plumbing fixture solutions to meet their project needs.

This new app greatly enhances user ability to work efficiently and effectively. In design meetings or on the go, users can figure out what plumbing fixture combinations will maximize the water savings and LEED points for their project. The LEED Water Use Calculator not only verifies the WEp1 prerequisite compliance, but also WEc2 and WEc3.

Green Badger software supports a variety of design and construction professionals, including General Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Designers and Developers in their quests to comply with LEED certification standards and to verify sustainable materials and construction practices.

The basic version of the app is available for free, with a paid version which allows customized and more complex calculations for a variety of commercial and residential project types at a low price of $3.99, via an in-app purchase.
The Green Badger Water Use Calculator App is supported by iOS and is available for download and installation through the Apple App Store. An Android version is planned for future release.
