AprilAire managers assembled school supplies in 50 backpacks last week to donate them to Poynette, Wis.-area students in need as they go back to school this fall. In addition to its focus on residential indoor air quality, the nationwide provider of professional-grade Healthy Air solutions for the home since 1954 has a strong corporate commitment to making a difference in the communities where it does business. This second annual back-to-school backpack donation is a prime example of the value AprilAire places on giving back and making a positive impact in the community at large.
Backpacks with school supplies and kindergarten rest mats were delivered to students at Poynette Elementary School on Monday, Aug. 21. Community partners Complete Office of Wisconsin, Fiskars, and CamelBak donated items included in the backpacks like notebooks, binders, paper, pencils, scissors, water bottles, and more. AprilAire and its employees are also delivering donated items to support middle and high school students in the Poynette School District including gift cards to purchase clothing and athletic shoes throughout the school year as well as a variety of personal care items for those in need.
“We are honored to help local students put their best foot forward when they enter the classroom this fall. We appreciate the support of our partners Complete Office of Wisconsin, Fiskars, and CamelBak to make this effort possible,” says Dale Philippi, president and CEO of Research Products Corporation, AprilAire’s parent company.
