Errol Bull with Momentive Performance Materials, in Waterford, N.Y., has received the Lou Toporcer Hall of Fame Award from ASTM International Committee on Building Seals and Sealants (C24).
The committee recognized Bull for his service in the stimulation of research, promotion of knowledge, and service to the building industry in the area of voluntary standardization. He was previously awarded the Award of Appreciation (2003, 2007) from the committee. Bull has been a member of ASTM International since 2000.
Bull, technical manager of the Silicone Products for Glazing Segment, has served as a structural design engineer with CT Male Associates and as a structural engineer and application development engineer with GE Silicones. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology, and a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
In addition to ASTM International, Bull is a member of the International Organization for Standardization and Construction Specifications Institute.
