ControlBright will supply its lighting control hardware platform and remote access systems to Current’s NX Lighting Controls NXAC2 Series lighting control software.
Current chose ControlBright to provide remote access and lighting control solution for its lighting installations at client locations. Current provides a complete lighting and controls package that is used in commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.
Current sought a flexible hardware platform for their next generation lighting control software. As part of the spec, a secure connectivity solution was required to better support customers and agents.
“We spent years looking for the right remote access platform,” Current Vice President Scott Ziegenfus says. “The timing of our introduction to ControlBright was impeccable as we were also looking for a hardware platform for our new NXAC2 lighting control software. ControlBright was able to provide BOTH solutions in one integrated platform.”
ControlBright developed a remote-access platform that allows users to easily manage a large number of devices remotely. The company’s unique virtual private network application program interface, or VPN API, allows programmatic management of thousands of devices simultaneously, regardless of whether they are cloud-native.
“We are very pleased to welcome Current to our growing list of OEM partners” ControlBright Founder and CEO Chad Behling says. “By integrating our Intel-based fanless hardware platform along with our industry leading remote access technology, Current is able to offer an integrated solution that is easy to deploy and easy to maintain.”
