The Crestline Select 250 Series from Crestline Windows & Doors
The product line now includes single hung, double hung, single slider, casement, awning and direct-set picture windows; and sliding patio doors.
The Crestline 250 Series products are engineered for strength and superior thermal performance. The products have a premium solid vinyl extrusion and a steel-reinforced meeting rail for strength, insulating performance and low maintenance. Fusion-welded corners ensure the products’ rigidity and durability.
The frames are made of select PVC with high-impact modifiers and UV stabilizers that help the colors resist fading in the sun. Available colors include White, Ivory, Almond, Desert Tan and Terra Bronze. A painted Dark Bronze, Black or Brown exterior, specially formulated for scuff-free wear, with white interiors is also available. Hardware is color-coordinated to the windows.
Window finishing accessories, such as a mull cover connector, drip cap, j-channel, vinyl brickmould and stucco adapter, snap easily into a convenient, built-in exterior accessory channel.
The double hung units feature an improved balance system, replacing the traditional block-and-tackle balance system with an inverted and concealed constant force balance system, which allows for the quietest and smoothest operation. Quick release tilt latches allow the sash to easily tilt in for cleaning or removal.
The Crestline Select 250 products are highly energy efficient. The new double hung units with Low-E glass with argon gas-filled airspaces have a 0.29 U-Value. For that same unit with triple glazed Zo-e-shield 7 glass, the U-value is 0.21. Standard glazing is 3/4-inch insulated glass with a Real Warm Edge Spacer system that provides reliable comfort and maximum energy savings.
Simulated Divided Lite (SDL) grilles, and flat and profiled Grilles in Airspace (GIA) can be added to Crestline Select 250 products for aesthetic appeal.
