Espen Technology has announced the opening of its warehouse location in Indianapolis. This is its second warehouse, with the first located at its corporate headquarters outside of Los Angeles. The Indianapolis warehouse will primarily serve the East and Upper Midwest, while the L.A. warehouse will serve the West and South Central U.S.
According to John Clancy, SVP of sales & marketing at Espen, “The Indy warehouse will now allow us to deliver to most locations East of the Mississippi River within one or two days. It also expands our product inventory in the U.S.” Clancy adds, “Overall, the warehouse will improve our customer experience across the entire country.”
The Indianapolis warehouse is currently 25,000-square-feet, and expandable up to 39,000-square-feet. Four Espen employees will be based at the new facility, and it will be managed by Flemming Jensen, in addition to his regional sales management responsibilities. The new Indy warehouse will handle shipping, receiving, stocking, and returns / RGAs. Longer term, the Indy warehouse will eventually add customer service staff in the Eastern Time Zone, and a product training center. The warehouse is in the Southeast quadrant of Indianapolis, near 3 major interstate highways. For more information, email [email protected] or visit online.
