Designers now have even more high-pressure laminate options through Formica Corp. The company has announced it is expanding its offerings with the Arpa for Americas collection from Italian manufacturer Arpa Industriale.
Since 1954, Arpa Industriale has been designing and manufacturing high-quality HPL for the most diverse applications. The Arpa for Americas collection is a lively and usable line of laminate surfaces that expresses all of the original creativity that the “Made in Italy” label represents. In June 2019, Formica was acquired by Broadview Holding B.V., a Netherlands-based holding company with a position in the global market of surface materials, joining Arpa Industriale as a sister company.
“The Arpa for Americas collection is shaped by more than 60 years of color exploration that features intense solid colors and fashion-forward woodgrains and patterns,” says Renee Hytry Derrington, managing principal, Formica North American Design. “By combining these beautiful Italian designs with our North American logistics, designers have quicker access to a broader palette of laminates for commercial and residential design.”
The new program features 55 top-selling Arpa for Americas solid colors, woodgrains, patterns and metals continuously stocked in Formica’s warehouse in Indianapolis. The materials will be available with a one-sheet order minimum and shipped quickly using Formica Group’s distribution network.
An additional 50 Arpa for Americas colors, woodgrains, patterns and metallic will be available as made-to-order sheets with additional texture options with a 10 sheet minimum. Upon arrival from Italy, they will be shipped using Formica Group’s distribution network.
