Italian chiller manufacturer Geoclima announced that, after achieving the AHRI WCCL certification for water cooled range of chillers at the beginning of this year, they have achieved the AHRI Certified mark, an assurance of product performance, for the air cooled range of products as an Original Equipment Manufacturer.
Applying to the ACCL program (Air-Cooled Water-Chilling Package), the Geoclima air cooled chiller range has earned the AHRI Certified mark, with the sole exception of evaporative systems and free cooling series, which are excluded from the certification program. The certification includes Circlemiser, the series of Geoclima air cooled chillers, which will be on show at AHR EXPO 2018 in Chicago.
AHRI certification is worldwide considered to be the standard and trusted source of performance certification for heating, air conditioning, water heating and commercial refrigeration equipment. Although it is not mandatory, AHRI certification is often a specified requirement by consulting engineers, building owners and contractors.
Tests have been carried at a third party laboratory under contract to AHRI.
With AHRI certification (both WCCL and ACCL) customers and end-users are assured that Geoclima chillers will perform in accordance with the performance values declared in the technical documentation and in the selection software Geoselectool.
The AHRI Certification of both water cooled and air cooled chillers represents a step forward in Geoclima international growth, strengthened with the establishment of Geoclima U.S., the first Geoclima sales office located in Dallas.
