NYControlled, an inaugural educational trade show for lighting control systems and products, proved to be a resounding success among the lighting and design community.
The Nov. 14 event in New York City boasted more than 800 attendees, 36 exhibitors, three event sponsors and four accredited seminars, exceeding expectations and rivaling other lighting trade shows in the industry.
The all-day event organized by the New York City Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNYC) and the Designers Lighting Forum for New York (DLFNY) focused on educating professionals in the lighting, architecture, electrical engineering, construction, and building management fields on the many ways that control systems can enhance the built environment and reduce operating costs and energy consumption.
The event was extremely well-received by specifiers and lighting experts alike, demonstrating great potential for growth in future years.
