The LED Professional Symposium +Expo (LpS) is an annual international conference that addresses solid-state lighting technologies and its applications. In 2016 it will take place from Sept. 20-22 in Bregenz, Austria. Experts from the fields of industry and academia are invited to submit an abstract to present their latest developments and expectations for future lighting trends and innovations to a highly qualified audience. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 19, 2016.
Presenters can portray their latest views, exchange experiences with other international specialists and expand their knowledge on current and future lighting trends. Furthermore, the papers will be published in the LpS 2016 proceedings booklets.
Submitted lectures must be original material and should cover one of the following topics: lighting innovations; intelligent and connected lighting; smart technologies; engineering and design; lifetime and security; costs and manufacturing; best practice approaches and applications. The wide range of subjects can cover areas like luminaires and lamps; smart controls; light sources; optics; manufacturing and equipment. The LED Professional Scientific Award honors the best scientific paper from universities, research organizations or institutes with a financial contribution of 3,000 euros. Furthermore, the winning paper will be published in the November/December issue of the LED professional Review. For the sixth year in a row, LED Professional Symposium +Expo will turn the Festspielhaus Bregenz into a networking platform for more than 1,500 international decision makers in the areas of general, industrial and architectural lighting Sept. 20-22. The city of Bregenz is located on the shores of Lake Constance and is the capital city of the state of Vorarlberg, Austria’s westernmost province. The LpS 2016 takes place in the Festspielhaus Bregenz. It is a very popular location, where operas and concerts take place throughout the year. Parts of the James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, were filmed here.
