LiteTrace, a global provider of Bluetooth Network Lighting Control (NLC) systems, has announced the appointment of David Weigand as director of Product Management and Technical Services. In this role, Weigand will be responsible for leading the company’s product development strategy, providing project support, and ensuring that LiteTrace’s products meet the needs of its customers.
Weigand brings over 40 years of experience in the lighting and controls industry to LiteTrace. He has held various roles in product management, marketing, and sales at leading companies, including Leviton, Encelium, Ledvance, Form Lighting and Controls, and Nicor.

Based in Albuquerque, Weigand will closely collaborate with LiteTrace’s China Engineering and R&D teams to strengthen the Keilton brand as well as the OEM private label product offering. He will accelerate the already rapid adoption of LiteTrace’s commercial lighting control solutions. Weigand holds patents for lighting control, is active with IES, and was a past Northwest regional VP for IES. He is a Certified Lighting Professional (LC) and certified LEED Green Associate.
