LiteTrace announced the launch of a new scheduled auto-calibration feature for daylight harvesting within the Keilton+Autani mobile app. This new feature makes it easier for users to set their target light level as they can now schedule the calibration process to take place during a time (such as nighttime) when natural daylight will not affect ambient light levels in the space.
The auto-calibration feature has adjustable parameters set by the user to achieve a desired ambient light level. That target light level is then maintained though a self-learning process, enabling luminaires to fully harvest natural ambient light to dim themselves and maintain a comfortable, safe, and energy saving light level. Users can also manually adjust the auto-calibration to “fine tune” the light level to their needs.
With auto-calibration and scheduled auto-calibration, users can maximize energy savings by providing just the right amount of light for the space and tasks.
