NEMA Releases Statement About U.S. Tariffs on Imports from Mexico

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), representing U.S. electrical and medical imaging equipment manufacturers, called on the U.S. and Mexico to act quickly to reach an understanding that will prevent the imposition of U.S. tariffs on imports from Mexico.

“Many of our member companies operate on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border, and have built highly integrated, efficient, and valuable supply chains over the last two decades,” states NEMA President and CEO Kevin J. Cosgriff. “The efforts of our respective governments and industries should be defined by greater collaboration in addressing shared challenges, so recently exemplified by the new U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement.”
