The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) will hold its 2021 Spring Committee Virtual Meeting from March 29 to 31 with updates on the latest technology and innovations in windows, doors and skylights. The online event will bring together leaders in the fenestration industry ranging from manufacturers and labs to architects and green building professionals.
At the three-day event, attendees will discuss industry advancements, updates to NFRC’s programs and processes, and review improvements in fenestration that affect the comfort and energy use in homes and offices nationwide. NFRC is the nation’s leading authority on energy-performance ratings for fenestration products.
“Throughout the year, our meetings will focus on the new technologies that will shape the future of the fenestration industry. We have leaders from several national labs and researchers at top universities speaking about next generation smart windows and dynamic glass as well as advancements in energy performance and durability,” says NFRC CEO Deb Callahan. “Increasingly, members say that they are looking to energy efficiency as a way of reducing carbon emissions while improving profitability and competitiveness. Even during this ongoing pandemic, businesses rely on NFRC to outline ways to work together to build a sustainable future. ”
