The Tubmarine, a wood-fired hot tub clad in sustainable Kebony wood, is now available to the North American spa and outdoor lifestyle market.

The Tubmarine brings the versatility and aesthetic of Norwegian timber to any home, without the environmental impact. Simple and easy to set-up, the Tubmarine can be ready for use in under two hours, requiring no electricity, instead powered by a wood burner at its base. Offering a return to the outdoors, the hot tub provides a comforting refuge from the challenges of modern-day life, instead embracing natural sources of energy and forward-thinking, sustainably sourced materials.
When the founder created Tubmarine, he realized he needed to use a timber that would complement the robustness of the stainless steel. He wanted a hardwood that was sustainable. After much research, he came across Kebony, which is durable, stable, environmentally friendly and aesthetically beautiful. It’s central to the stylish design.
Crafted with an eco-friendly conscience, the Tubmarine’s design is fitted from 80 percent recycled, high-quality fabricated parts and materials, featuring a Kebony outer skin with a stainless steel frame and tub. Outstanding engineering meets revolutionary technology to result in a sustainable hot tub that is pleasing to the eye and blends into its natural surroundings.
Kebony wood withstands weathering, retaining its unique appearance as the wood ages over time to acquire a beautiful silver-gray patina. With no additional wood treatment required and delivered with a 10-year warranty, the Tubmarine is easy to maintain and long-lasting.
The Tubmarine is now available across the U.S. in two different sizes: one which caters for two, and a larger module that fits up to four or five people.
