Sylvania has released its Post Top Area Light (D11 Area Light Retrofit Kit). The light is a 40-watt LED lamp designed to be used as a replacement for 175-watt HID lamps at pole heights up to 20 feet. The product, which is mercury free, can reduce energy consumption up to 70 percent. In addition to the light, the kit includes an LED board with optics, heat sink, Optotronic power supply, AC surge protector and mounting hardware.
