Mule-Hide Products Co. has added seven colors— Brown, Charleston Green, Green, Safety Red, Safety Yellow, Terra Cotta and Tinners Red—to its Silicone Roof Coating System for restoring roofs. Safety Red and Safety Yellow can be used to create “warning tracks” around roof perimeters, skylights and other areas where fall protection is required. The Silicone Roof Coating System can be applied to a wide array of roofing substrates, including metal, EPDM, TPO, aged PVC, aged acrylic coatings, concrete, asphalt built-up roofs, granulated modified bitumen roofs and spray-applied polyurethane foam. The coating, which boasts low water absorption and a quick cure time, controls damage caused by ultraviolet radiation, reduces thermal shock and seals water entry points.
