MaxLite has announced the release of a 60-watt equivalent LED A-lamp value pack that makes saving energy and protecting the climate an affordable choice for consumers.
The retrofit lamps are sold in a four-pack that brings the price per lamp to less than five dollars, with the potential for consumers to reap further savings through utility rebate programs. Also sold individually, the 9-watt LED lamps consume 85 percent less energy than an incandescent bulb and last longer, with 15,000 hours of lumen maintenance. The lamps are available for purchase at select locations of Ace Hardware, True Value, Menards, Walgreens and Habitat for Humanity ReStores.
MaxLite LED A-lamps distribute light using an omnidirectional beam that replicates the even glow of an incandescent bulb. The non-dimmable lamps are offered in 2700K and 3000K warm-white color temperatures, and fit a variety of residential and commercial lighting fixtures, including table and floor lamps, pendants and wall sconces. In addition to the traditional 60-watt equivalent, MaxLite offers 40-, 75- and 100-watt versions with ENERGY STAR certification.
