Winners of the annual Contractor Project of the Year competition were announced by Sika Sarnafil at the International Roofing Expo (IRE) Awards Dinner in Dallas. Winners were recognized for outstanding workmanship in five categories; Low Slope – New Construction, Low Slope – Re-Roofing, Steep Slope, Sustainability, and Waterproofing for projects completed using a Sika PVC membrane for roofing or waterproofing applications.
“The 2019 Project of the Year contractors should be proud of their accomplishments,” says Brian J. Whelan, Sika Sarnafil’s executive vice president. “Every year we receive entries from contractors all over the country and the selection process judges everything from project complexity and design uniqueness to craftsmanship and creative problem solving. Congratulations to this year’s winners – we salute your dedication to the roofing industry and look forward to seeing what 2020 has in store!”
Taking advantage of this year’s IRE location, Sika Sarnafil held the awards dinner at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which also boasts a Sarnafil roof. Sika Sarnafil took the stage to recognize the leading roofing projects of the year and congratulate our winning contractors on a job well done.

The high caliber of projects from around the U.S. submitted to the competition this year made the selection process extremely challenging. All participants should be proud of their hard work this year and their accomplishments.
