South Mountain Hardwood Flooring, manufacturer/marketer of hardwood materials for durable floors at affordable prices, has been certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
The Rainforest Alliance is the world’s leading Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Forest Management certifier, with more than 20 years of certification experience. The organization works with all forest types in over 70 countries, with small businesses, indigenous communities and Fortune 500 companies, as well.
In 1989, the Rainforest Alliance developed the world’s first global forestry certification program relying on market forces to conserve forests. It is one of the founders of FSC.
“Our focus of providing high-quality hardwood flooring solutions to our clientele has to include working in conjunction with reputable certification organizations. Clearly, the FSC is one of those,” states John Salvador, vice president of South Mountain Hardwood Flooring.
