Spectrum Lighting has announced the arrival of Bob Wedekind as vice president of product development, reporting directly to COO and Principal Jeff Fein. Previously serving as the strategic business unit manager at Lightolier, Bob established and implemented their project selection process and directed their R&D efforts. He created and led the Design and Engineering Trainee Program yielding 13 new industrial design and mechanical engineers. Wedekind is also a member of the Advisory Board of UMass Dartmouth’s College of Mechanical Engineering. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from RISD.
