After almost three decades of focusing solely on geothermal heat pumps and water-source equipment, Enertech has released the Advantage air-to-water heat pump. The Advantage simplifies and makes radiant, in-floor heating, up to 100 percent of domestic hot water, and forced air heating and cooling functionality easily accessible for both HVAC contractor and end-users.
The Advantage dramatically simplifies the entire process, from design to installation, by incorporating all of the necessary pieces, factory-installed, within the indoor and outdoor module in a Monobloc design.
The Advantage provides more than 40 percent savings on operation when compared to traditional air-source systems and over 60 percent compared to propane and fuel oil systems. Even at freezing (32 F), the Advantage can operate at a 4 COP.
This system is a suitable solution for projects interested in the most comfortable type of heating, radiant, in-floor heat and up to 100 percent of domestic hot water. This naturally gears it toward heating-dominant or equal heating and cooling load portions of North America.
Enertech is committed to not just innovating, but being a true partner of industry, and to achieve that goal with the Advantage, the company is offering 20- to 30-minute, online training courses on the Advantage air-to- water heat pump. This serves as an opportunity for contractors to confidently quote, design, and install this product, and it further develops their staff into well-rounded HVAC professionals.
