Zurn Industries LLC has expanded its customer service capabilities with the relocation of the Zurn Dallas Distribution Center–only 2.7 miles from the existing facility but light years ahead in terms of size, state-of-the-art showroom capability and overall customer service.
The company’s investment in the new facility, which has a total footprint of 84,000 square feet, underscores Zurn’s strong standing in the market. The facility will enhance Zurn’s ability to serve its customers through faster shipping response time, quicker and easier customer pickup, and pinpoint product customization via onsite final assembly cells.
“The Dallas service center supports our aggressive growth strategy in the Southwest region and allows for product customization outside of the factory. The new facility is truly exceptional and will deliver increased value to our customers,” says Craig Wehr, president, Zurn Industries.
Scott Burnett, vice president of Operations, adds: “The expanded Zurn Dallas Distribution Center increases Zurn’s total inventory-distribution footprint in North America to 1.9 million square feet. This investment enables improved customer service, an innovation showcase, expanded training facilities, product customization and operational efficiency.”
The new Zurn Dallas Distribution Center will include a state-of-the-art showroom and a training facility for local engineers, contractors, and distributors.
