BlueLinx Minneapolis Is a Wholesale Distributor for Versatex Building Products

Versatex Building Products LLC, has again expanded its base of wholesale distributors by naming BlueLinx Minneapolis as a full-line distributor.

The BlueLinx parent organization sells a range of building products through a network of more than 40 warehouses and 50 reload facilities nationwide. Its Minneapolis location is the second BlueLinx outlet to be designated a Versatex distributor. It joins the Charleston, S.C., BlueLinx operation, which Versatex honored as its 2017 National Distributor of the Year. BlueLinx has its national headquarters in Atlanta.

Versatex Building Products LLC, a manufacturer of PVC architectural trim materials, is based in Pittsburgh.

“This expansion should give building-supply dealers and their contractors across the upper Midwest confidence in product access and on-time delivery,” says Versatex sales and marketing VP Rick Kapres. “BlueLinx has worked hard to gain the respect of both manufacturers and end-users, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with another of their locations.

“Not only is the Twin Cities region a key territory for Versatex, but the BlueLinx service platform will make life easier for our customers,” he says. “Our aim is to smooth out the supply chain for dealers, lumber yards and home-improvement centers.”
